Tarleton's Bizarre Rationale

On Behalf of WEA’s More Conservative Members #98 / Challenger Claims WA State Is Not a National Model for Vote-by-Mail / Tarleton’s Bizarre Rationale / 10.26.20 / In a recently broadcast forum by the GSBA, the Democratic Challenger claimed that WA State was not a national model for the use of Vote-by-Mail. Given that WA State leads the nation in the use of Vote-by-Mail and has consulted with many states wishing to begin Vote-by-Mail, that’s a strange claim. One has to wonder what her rationale might be. And one need only watch the video broadcast at 14:22 to hear what she said and why. / Tarleton claims that if WA State were the model, we wouldn’t be seeing long lines of people waiting for early voting at the polls in their states. From my perspective, her rationale is that Wyman has failed to get other states to adopt Vote-by-Mail. Wyman has no authority over other states that would force them to adopt Vote-by-Mail. Also, five states and the District of Columbia have instituted Vote-by-Mail with Wyman’s support. / That rationale echos a claim early on in the campaign when Tarleton, who clearly knew nothing about the jurisdiction of the Secretary of State, chastised Wyman for allowing an online vote in King County. That election was exposed to potential hacking. Never mind that Wyman had no authority over that vote, it was purely a King County action and not subject to Wyman’s jurisdiction. / https://www.facebook.com/theGSBA.org/videos/374553350585621
